ION's <<Earn>> 💰 feature is designed to enable users to provide liquidity and earn rewards through two distinct modes: Simple mode and Pro mode.
🐣 Use Simple Mode to add liquidity to CPMM pools. In the ION Finance ecosystem, these pools utilize the constant product market maker model to offer liquidity and trading. They operate on a simple yet effective formula that keeps the product of two token quantities constant, ensuring continuous fluid liquidity even during significant price shifts. CPMM Pools offers a constant product model that ensures stable liquidity and automatic price adjustments, making it ideal for the dynamic nature of DeFi assets.
👨💻 Use Pro Mode to add liquidity to the Hybrid Orderbook AMM pools. This blend represents an advanced version of traditional AMMs, featuring the addition of concentrated liquidity. This innovation allows liquidity providers to target their capital within specific price ranges, thereby increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of their investments. The hybrid model also supports both market and limit orders, providing traders with a range of strategies, from instant execution to strategic positioning. Especially beneficial for assets with stable price dynamics or large liquidity reserves.
Both modes are designed to cater to different levels of experience in liquidity provision, allowing users to earn rewards in a manner that suits their expertise and comfort level.
1️⃣Add liquidity to CPMM pools using => 🐣 <<Simple mode>>
1. On the main screen start by choosing <<Earn>>.
Next, on <<Earn>> screen by default <<Simple>> mode is selected.
Here you must choose the then token you desire to deposit, to start receiving your earnings. When selecting the token, info such as available tokens, APY, and your balance will be shown.
After choosing the token you desire to deposit and inputting the desired amount press <<Confirm>> and the <<Add liquidity>> screen will show up. Check your info, <<Confirm Transaction>>, and you're done! You successfully added liquidity to ION's CPMM pool and you're ready to receive your earnings! 🎉
2️⃣Add liquidity to Hybrid orderbook AMM pools using => 👨💻 Pro Mode
Select <<Pro>> mode, explore within the available pools, and select the one you desire to add liquidity to.
To add liquidity to a pool, you will need to hold both of the two pool tokens in your wallet. In this screen you can adjust the price range where you want to put your liquidity. After, click <<Next>>.
On the next page, you can select the liquidity distribution mode. Here, you can see a brief explanation of each liquidity distribution mode. Select the one that suits better your liquidity strategy, then click <<Next>> to continue.
Finally, choose how much liquidity you desire to add to your wallet, as well as how that liquidity will be distributed within the pool. Confirm it with the <<Add Liquidity>> button.
On the <<Add liquidity>> screen review it and after click on <<Confirm Transaction>> to finalize! You're done adding liquidity to the Hybrid orderbook AMM pool! 🎉
